I'm so blown away with how amazing this story was. I've read all his novels and this was his most mature and best writing to date. The narrator Gethin Anthony is on the level of R.C. Bray or Carey Mulligan. Outstanding job and best story I've heard all year. I hope for more in this universe.

Great book I listen to it every night before I go to sleep the only part I dont love about it is the jerboa chapters because they are a little spooky to me but thats just my opinion and if you came to this book for scary I can assure you it is not that kind of book it is great for 9-13 year olds and my ten year old daughter was the one who introduced me to this series and now I am obsessed I would definitely recommend it to you and what's great is that there are graphic novels in the process of being published and a Netflix tv show that is coming out soon but overall it is a great book and I think you would love it if you are into fantasy and dragons

I have read all the books in this series and wondered if I would be able to keep track of all the characters easier with audio. Nope. I love the series, but you need a whiteboard for character trees.
