Karl always played it safe—coding by day, gaming by night. But when a mystical tower drags him into a world where spells are real and death is only a single mistake away, Karl must adapt fast. Thrust into a deadly war, he's forced to recruit allies, conquer dungeons, and defend his tower against relentless attacks. As the stakes climb ever higher, Karl quickly learns that in this game, there's no respawn. If his tower falls, it's game over—for good.

MC is sensitive and foolish
Revisado: 04-19-25
Book had a decent premise, but the MC makes this book sadly a fail. I wish the MC could show some actual confidence instead of his constant second guessing and the phrase this isn't a game is way overused.

Revisado: 04-07-25
Nothing really wrong with it per say, but at the same time it just couldn't hold me anymore. The MC just isn't that engaging.

Historia
Kyle Hawthorn never bows to anyone, not even in death. And he certainly isn't going to after being reincarnated into the vice city of Raktor. Most would rather spend eternity in purgatory than be reborn into this living hell—but not Kyle. Hell is exactly where he wants to rule. There's only one problem. Rival gangs have set their sights on his territory, and his few followers are no better than glorified meat shields. Kyle must find a way to salvage his struggling crew, evade authorities, and annihilate his enemies with the help of a mysterious system from a bygone era.

A great Idea, it's a shame it doesn't pan out
Revisado: 09-20-24
The Narrator was excellent, which unfortunately is all that was really good about this title. The story itself is too full of holes, too many time skips, and yet not enough time skipped to explain the advancements in the plot. The skips are even more egregious when you consider that most of them could be flushed into additional solid story. I had high hopes for this title, but the execution left me very disappointed.

Historia
After a successful auction, the young Prince Edgar requested Derek’s help on an issue that concerned the safety of the entire Kingdom of Cydaria. A new, level 250 raid dungeon appeared, and Edgar needed the kingdom’s elite to help clear it before the unstable dungeon overflowed, or even worse, broke. Leaving his shop in the trusting hands of Malorie, and with everyone’s insistence that he go, Derek agreed to the prince’s request and joined him and the others on the raid. However, the dungeon wasn’t what anyone was expecting, and when they went inside, they found that it was a trial dungeon.

Why is Everyone so dumb!
Revisado: 03-06-24
Why is everyone in the book so dumb? The supporting characters are all stupid, and fall for any and all traps. The bad guys all monologue and if there is a cliche which is missed, I blanked out in stupor.
The sad part is I really wanted this series to be good, I really did. I was hoping that the series would grow and the main character would grow, but instead the books simply continued, and I was the dumb one to expect better.
Do not waste your money or credits on this series, it doesn't get better, it sadly just keeps going.

Historia
A deadly tower with over 20 floors of monsters and challenges, the Grimspire popped into existence one day and forever changed the face of the world. No one knows where it came from or what its real purpose is. The only thing known for certain is that to reach the top means to get a wish—any wish. Most people try their luck with dreams of fame and riches, but Jeth just wants to see the wretched tower crumble. The Grimspire’s demise is all that matters to him.

Couldn't get too far, the MC is a whiny moron
Revisado: 05-01-23
The MC is constantly telling himself to plan and be smart, then promptly making rash decisions and leaping ahead into things. Additionally, as soon as anything goes even slightly wrong he begins going into histrionics about how he has failed and will die, and how this is all so unfair. Good luck to others, but I cannot recommend this title to any.

A GOOD FANTASY NOVEL, HOWEVER THIS IS NOT LITRPG
Revisado: 09-29-22
I enjoyed this book and do not regret spending a token on it, however this is most definitely not LITRPG. I applaud Tim Gerard Reynolds for his performance, he is truly a fantastic reader.

Will is the newest in a long line of dungeons born into the world — and he’s a rank higher than any dungeon that preceded. He’s born along with seven other dungeons in a small area, but so many dungeons were born in one place because of a magical disaster...a disaster brought about by the Voidbringers who sought to conquer the world.

NOT REALLY A DUNGEON CORE NOVEL
Revisado: 09-19-21
Too much of the book has nothing to do with the dungeon core, it spends a great deal on the adventurers and the people outside the dungeon. While some may enjoy hearing about the adventurers travels it makes the dungeon core seem like an afterthought. While the book does start with the core it quickly meanders away and into an adventure novel. I lost interest and could not finish this book, very disappointing overall for the category it was listed as.
