Historia
Holding power for over 50 years starting in 1327, Edward III was one of England's most influential kings and one who shaped the course of English history. Revered as one of the country's most illustrious leaders for centuries, he was also a usurper and a warmonger who ordered his uncle beheaded. A brutal man, to be sure, but also a brilliant one.

5 stars simple as that

Great book from start to finish, lots of detail and story. You can really see where Game of Thrones gets a lot of its material from.

Historia
Andrew Roberts' Napoleon is the first one-volume biography to take advantage of the recent publication of Napoleon's thirty-three thousand letters, which radically transform our understanding of his character and motivation. At last we see him as he was: protean multitasker, decisive, surprisingly willing to forgive his enemies and his errant wife Josephine.

Fantastic
Revisado: 08-09-17
Well written, well read. Very few complaints but two to mention is the book will make use of French terms without always explaining them, and the book while fair and justified may seem pro-Napoleon to anyone coming from other sources. The truth is probably somewhere inbetween and the book does a good job of being skeptical while justifying its conclusions. Very entertaining military and political history.

Extreme success, by definition, lies beyond the realm of normal action. If you want to achieve extreme success, you can’t operate like everybody else and settle for mediocrity. You need to remove luck and chance from your business equation, and lock in massive success. The 10X Rule shows you how!

No practical advice other than motivation
Revisado: 02-23-17
What did you like best about The 10X Rule? What did you like least?
To quote another reviewer, this was 'motivational not realistic'. I'm a very motivated person, so this was completely worthless to me. I could teach the author motivation, which was really all he had to offer. His lesson boils down to: Set absurd goals and then make a whole lot of effort to get there. I admit, it's good advice..for someone who's never been motivated in their life. It's a great book, for someone without any common sense or desire to succeed.
If you already have the desire to succeed, this book won't do much if at all for you. It's not a bad book - the majority of people in this world could sure use it. But they can get the same thing from old cliches like "Don't give up" and "Try try again".

Between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities...there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars.... Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand...to tread the jeweled thrones of the earth under his sandalled feet.

Boring, nonstop droning
Revisado: 02-23-17
Would you try another book from Robert E. Howard and/or Todd McLaren?
An hour in, I've heard nothing but rubbish in the most boring droning voice possible. I have 50 audiobooks and this one is the worst by far. It's more the narrator and his long boring and pompous speech at the beginning, an endless rant that adds nothing and doesn't say anything new and gets repetitive and just says the most boring same things again and again without sto-

Why 'A' Students Work for 'C' Students and 'B' Students Work for the Government

Kiyosaki expands on his belief that the school system was created to churn out Es / Employees...those "A Students" who read well, memorize well and test well... and not the creative thinkers, visionaries, and dreamers - entrepreneurs-in-the-making...those "C Students" who grow up to be the innovators and creators of new ideas, businesses, applications, and products. The audiobook urges parents not to be obsessed with their kids' "letter grades" ("good grades" might only mean they or the student themselves were successful in jamming a square peg into a round hole...) and focus, instead, on concepts, ideas, and helping their child find their true genius.

Incredibly boring, political, condescending

Any additional comments?
I liked his other books more. This one is light on information and heavy on drawn out anecdotes that don't really teach much as much as preach basic opinions.

Few books have captivated the imagination and won the devotion and praise of readers and critics everywhere as has George R. R. Martin’s monumental epic cycle of high fantasy that began with A Game of Thrones. Now, in A Feast for Crows, Martin delivers the long-awaited fourth book of his landmark series, as a kingdom torn asunder finds itself at last on the brink of peace . . . only to be launched on an even more terrifying course of destruction.

Not as good as first 3 books
Revisado: 05-06-16
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Cut out the weaker storylines. It's clear in hindsight a lot of these were thrown together in afterthought for completeness' sake.
Would you recommend A Feast for Crows to your friends? Why or why not?
No, it's the worst of the series.
