Couldn’t put it down! Binge listened all the way through in one day! The writing of the characters, dialogue, and location descriptions are excellent, the narrator did an incredible job shifting accents for all the character voices, and the plot moved along briskly! Reminded me of reading Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys stories as a kid! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series and see the movie when it comes out!

No tips here on “How to be funny” at all. Just a bunch of general drivel on “It’s good to have humor. It helps keep you healthy...” Save your money. Or try Dave Nihill’s book on talking funny. It’s hilarious and gives lots of great tips.

I've read several books on "how to write your memoire", and most were fluffy and superficial. This book however has DEPTH! It makes you think about the WHY or the "Occasion for the Telling" and the HOW, your two main characters - your "experiencing self" (in the past) and your "remembering self" (your current you). I think I am listening to this book for the 4th time now and still getting lots of ideas and angles out of it. Thanks to the two authors for pouring your decades of in-depth experience into it!

What would have made How to Write a Book in 90 Days better?

The book was a bit amateurish and did not flow easily. It was a struggle to listen to the narrator and glean anything from the book.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Paul Holbrook?

The narration did not flow easily and was very difficult to listen to. The narrator had a strange accent, mispronounced many words, and his delivery was very choppy and amateurish, with unusual pauses and inflections. Within a few minutes I had to turn the book off and request my money back.
