This book wasn’t at all what I was expecting, I am so glad and I loved it more than I could imagine. The story is so good, I love the little girl and the relationships between all of the characters.

No one does alpha antiheroes like Ava so I was excited to find out this was a mafia story which I also love.
I loved Phoenix, she is strong and strong willed (stubborn) yet we also see her vulnerable side.
Alaric is strong and protective and a total Alpha male, as he should be due to his background. *swoon*
Both characters were good at hiding things about themselves that once revealed just made everything fall into place.
I loved the narrators that were chosen, they are some of my favorites!

Gemma & Lucas’s story was so good! Lucas comes off as your typical high school cocky jock but see what’s behind that facade. Gemma is a mystery from the get go and I loved that! I loved this duet narration! Both narrators are new to me but we’re perfect for these characters. I love high school bully romances and this one checked all the boxes for me. It was a very good listen with an amazing story.

This book is my new favorite of Avas’ books! He’s dark and gritty and so sinful!
Ava writes complicated men so well. The book was such an easy and quick read because it pulled me in so quickly and I didn’t want to put it down!
I’m a huge mafia romance fan and this was right up my ally and so satisfying!
The performance was excellent! It’s two of my favorite narrators!

There is no question who Vaughn’s parents are.
Vaughn’s story couldn’t have been told by better narrators! The cast is perfect.
I definitely am left wanting more from this family, I’m excited to see glimpses of them in upcoming books. I was also thrilled to see the other characters from previous books in this one.

I loved the story! Full of mystery and danger with twists you won’t see coming. I loved Greyson’s story and was so excited for Jackson’s story! The youngest Price is a hacker and will get to know this mysterious woman who stole his wallet. I loved seeing Jackson grow.

I really loved this quick listen, the story was very good. It is a clean romance. Overall I enjoyed the performance but I just wish that the narrator had given more feeling at certain parts it felt very monotoned.
