This was a great continuation of the James Reece saga. It was entertaining from start to finish.

In typical style, Dalzelle weaves a colorful, literary tapestry that pulls the reader in for the duration. Familiar characters fuel yet another high octane story of adventure that Dalzelle’s readers have come to expect from him. The Audible narration is superb as always. When I dive into a new edition of Omega Force I expect to be entertained from start to finish. The Human Factor did not disappoint.

I have read all of Dalzelle’s books (I actually listened to this one and, as always, Mark Boyett was awesome) and I am comfortable saying this is the best he has written to date. I read the first seven in this series as they were released. I lost track of the series after #7. I recently saw it had been completed and went back and reread the previous entrances and then moved on to finish the series. I’m glad I reread the other books so the whole story was fresh in my mind. The multiple storylines were done very well and came together as I hoped in the end. The story itself was very engaging and pulled me in for the whole book, never letting me go until the the satisfying conclusion. The different characters were very well developed and I felt like I knew them all. I have thoroughly enjoyed the Omega Force storyline, but this one is my favorite of Dalzelle’s worlds. I’m disappointed it has ended, but as they say, “All good things must come to an end.” Check out Empire, as well as the rest of the series. You will be glad you did.

Once again, Hank bumbles his way through another series of adventures. This is what our family has come to love and expect. The stories and always entertaining, the narration is second to none and we always come away with a new saying to quote to each other when the situation fits. We’ll done and keep them coming.

At the end of the last book, I was feeling a little burned out on the series. I’m glad I didn’t stop as I think this story was the best to date. This story took a lot of unexpected turns and the action was non stop.

This was a great basic review of physics and was made even more interesting by teaching it through the lens of science fiction and how it has been applied in different shows and movies with which most all Americans are familiar. It was both fun and educational. Great job to Erin MacDonald

As with the previous entrants to this series, the Last Archon was very entertaining and was driven by a cast of likable characters. There was enough action to keep me entertained throughout the book. I look forward to the next story, which I just purchased.

The awakening wasn't the best sci-fi story I have come across, but it was entertaining enough to keep me going. I have a fairly long commute to work each day and the story helped pass the drive time. I think part of my problem with the story was I had a hard time with the narrator. Something about the intonation of his reading didn't work for me. To be fair, he wasn't a bad narrator overall. I thought he did a fine job with his character voices and he had a clear voice. It just didn't work for me for a reasons I struggle to put my finger on. I ended up reading the end of the story and it was a bit better that way.

The production was fantastic. It wasn't like a typical audiobook with one person doing all the parts. The full cast brought a new dimension to the story and they did a great job playing the roles. The effect sounds were great as well. I enjoyed listening to this well done production.

Even better than Infected: The Fall

Caleb Cleek and Chris Ritchie have teamed up again in this heart pounding sequel to Infected: The Fall. The story picks up at the cliff hanger where The Fall left off. Connor and his family continue their fight for survival against the infected and the anarchy that ensue as society continues to collapse. Infected: The Flight carries two story lines simultaneously, switching back and forth, but focusing the majority of the book on Connor's brother Zeke as he flees the outbreak of the infection in Atlanta and attempts to travel across the country to Connor. Infected: The Flight is jam packed with action scene after action scene. The characters are well developed and Chris Ritchie brings them to life with excellent character voices. His rich voice is a pleasure to listen to as he masterfully narrates the tale. If you enjoy a fast paced story with well developed characters, you can't go wrong with Infected: The Flight!
