Historia
In the 1960s, Mao launched China’s Cultural Revolution. Cities grew overcrowded. Technocrats demanded progress from above. Anyone opposed was sent to be “re-educated.” China’s revolution was bloody, fast, and a failure, but what if America started a revolution at the same time, based on the same bad ideas, and it’s just been slower, calmer, and more effective?

Nihilism terminates in Vengeance
Revisado: 08-04-23
I now see how nihilism only leads to vengeance and bitterness with no hope and no future. The counter-revolution offers a better way.

In this fictionalized journal, Anastasia Romanov lives again. Through her eyes, we witness the day-to-day splendor the czar's family experienced before the onslaught of the Russian Revolution. However, one senses also that crowding the outskirts of Anastasia's ornate diary are hundreds of thousands of teeming serfs, just beginning to percolate.

Russia 🇷🇺 difficulties.
Revisado: 08-02-23
It was a very touching story of trust and mistrust and in the end everything unfolds and makes sense.🤩

Great Narration
Revisado: 12-27-22
Chuck Black crafted an unpredictable storyline that competes well with all other entertainment out there, and the narrator gives an excellent performance of the work.

Historia
Taking a phrase from Matthew 12:20, Sibbes explains what it means to be a "bruised reed". It is a metaphor that exemplifies the way in which God humbles sinners by allowing them to see sin in the way that he sees it - the lesson being that God sometimes wounds before healing but with the ultimate goal of deepening our love for Christ.

The narration was so poor I couldn’t get through five minutes. Sounds like Siri or Alexa’s brother reading.

Hatred for Trump Interferes with book

Informative and thought provoking. Wish there wasn’t profanity.
Revisado: 12-23-20
The performance was great. Very well read. The actual book itself is informative and very thought provoking. I wish there wasn’t profanity. One chapter in particular was rife with it. Also the worldview of the author had some issues but did not detract from the overall usefulness of the book.
