Historia
Melissa Levin, Priya Chowdhury, Tara Taylor, and Suki Hammer were going places when they graduated high school in 1997. Their yearbook superlatives were Most Likely to Win the White House, Cure Cancer, Open a Michelin-Starred Restaurant, and Join the Forbes 400, respectively. Fast forward twenty-five years and nothing has gone according to plan. Reunited at their reunion, the women rethink their younger selves. Is it too late to make their dreams come true?

Cute story but distracting anachronisms
Revisado: 10-06-22
This story was lighthearted and fun, but very predictable. It was basically The Babysitters Club for adults. My biggest issue was that the book was focused on the graduating class of 1997, but there were many references to things and events that happened after the people in the book would have already graduated. For example, without spoiling anything, there’s a reference to a time capsule in which the senior year students placed the soundtrack to Titanic. That movie came out in December of 1997. Those girls were already freshman in college when that movie came out. Plus, what high school students were listening to Celine Dion?!? None. That soundtrack would have been more for middle aged moms.
There’s a reference to a cell phone that didn’t come out until 1999. There are other examples regarding Princess Diana and foods that didn’t come out until 1998. As someone who actually graduated in 1997, it was annoying. It felt like the author used research from some facebook algorithm about the 90s to try to mesh together as many 90s references as possible without caring whether or not they made sense.
