Couldn't have asked for better
Revisado: 04-19-21
this book was totally amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better get away than this. It was everything you look for in a book. Hidden twists, an engaging tale, wonderment, and characters that you just can't wait to see what happens next on. The ending is perfect. I totally love it so often you get to the end and wonder what haps next or go where's the rest you didn't finish the story. Don't get me wrong I would love to know how Christian and Cassandra end up but that is it. All of the other little bits of the story actually got tied up and your not left hanging going what. This is my first book by Kate Morton and you can bet it probably won't be my last.

For thousands of years, there has been a cycle: a Demon King rises and conquers, and a Hero is reborn a hundred years later to defeat him. Each time, civilizations are ground to dust beneath the Demon King's hordes, but humanity has remained secure in the belief that a Hero of legend will always save them. There's just one slight problem. It's only been 23 years since the Demon King's latest rise, and this time, he's already conquered more than half the world. If humanity simply waits for the Hero's return, there may be no world left for him to save.

OMG I totally want more
Revisado: 04-08-21
Okay so I absolutely loved this book. It has everything you could possibly want in a book. I wasn't sure how much I would like it when it first started but I didn't want to shut it off the more I got into it. the last two hours I had to binge listen to it even though I knew I should have gone to bed. If your looking for something that is captivating, fun and just has a twist to your normal fantasy stories this is a great book to listen to. I hope that make another like it.

Something Different
Revisado: 04-05-21
This was another book I picked up because of a promo discount. Not my normal type of book. I am not a mystery type person, however this storyline caught my attention and I thought why not give it a chance. Overall the story line was good. it kept you wanting to know what was coming next. it isn't a very long book so if you wanted something that would be a quit listen to that will draw you in and make you want every little detail this is a good book for that.

Surprisingly good
Revisado: 04-02-21
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I got it for free on some promo. It isn't my typical book that I read. so I wasn't sure that I would like it but I actually did. It was worth me listening to it and I would so recommend this book to anything looking for a change in what they typically read or if they are just looking for a short good book to listen to. I totally enjoyed it. wouldn't mind if they came out with a second one to tell more of the story after the final interview log.

OMG Royce and Hadrian are so amazing. I really hope that Michaek Sullivan comes out with another book in this amazing series. These two characters are always getting inot a bit of trouble and always able to find their way out. They claim not to be friends but in truth they are the best of friends and it has been amazing to see how that friendship has grown over the whole series.

wow so captivating
Revisado: 01-05-21
I love this series. It is always one that I can't wait to finish to see how it is going to end. Michael Sullivan is an amazing author and Tim Reynolds is an amazing Narrator. Tim brings the characters to life with his voice variations and makes them seem so realistic, however this is probably made more easily with these wonderful characters that Michael has written. I would more than recommend this book to you to read. it will be well worth your time on it. I honestly can't wait to pick up the next one in this series and read it.

Historia
In the world of Warbreaker, each person is born endowed with the power of one Breath―which can be sold and collected by others, then used to Awaken objects and even corpses to do their bidding. A few individuals who die in glory return as gods, with the power of thousands of Breath, but no memory of their mortal lives―and are enthroned in the Court of Gods in Hallandren’s capital. To Vivenna and Siri, princesses of Idris, the abuse of Breath and the claim of the Returned to be gods are repugnant blasphemy.

Great but leaves you hanging
Revisado: 11-20-20
This was a great book. The storyline had lots of twists and turns and the momentum of the story was perfect. The author gave lots of details about the little nuance of the religion and the faith of the people in the book, however at the end of the book the author leaves you hanging with two of the characters and from my knowledge this book isn't part of a series and so you left wondering what happens next. if you don't have issues with that it is a great read. I would mostly definitely recommend this book and still read it again probably.

I am Mercedes Athena Thompson Hauptman. My only “superpowers” are that I turn into a 35 pound coyote and fix Volkswagens. But I have friends in odd places and a pack of werewolves at my back. It looks like I'm going to need them. Centuries ago, the fae dwelt in Underhill - until she locked her doors against them. They left behind their great castles and troves of magical artifacts. They abandoned their prisoners and their pets. Without the fae to mind them, those creatures who remained behind roamed freely through Underhill wreaking havoc. Now one of those prisoners has escaped.

Better than the first book
Revisado: 03-30-20
They say this is part of a series but it doesn't really have anything to do with book one. Yes the two main characters show up in the book a third of the way through but if you never picked up book one to read it you wouldn't miss out on anything. You don't have to read book one to enjoy book two. Aside from that the storytelling was good and again I enjoyed listening to it. I believe it is one that I will ever listen to a second time, but it has been enjoyable.

I enjoy listening to this book
Revisado: 03-30-20
This book was slow going and felt like it had a lot of back and forth telling between present and past event. I wasn't always sure of the time lime. I am really not sure how the opening chapters fit into the whole of the story, however overall the story was good and I enjoyed listening to it.
