Loved the story and the characters, but some of the reading was lacking in good expression.

Great book. Reader OK, but too many pauses in the middle of sentences to get top review.

Wonderful presentation of this classic.
Revisado: 04-09-18
Dench and Fry read this in a style that keeps the whimsy of the book without crossing over into the twee. The voices are superbly cast - I particularly liked Kanga and Piglet. The slight Aussie accent for Kanga worked and Jane Horrocks' Piglet is how I hear it in my head when I read the book. Eeyore also is good. I particularly liked that this is the full unabridged and unedited text of the original book.

Excellent as Bujold always is. the story completes the circle of Dog and Fawn's journey. Reading excellent with good voices.

Great story. Didn't care for reading.
Revisado: 04-09-18
Great story by Heyer - can see the influences from farnol and Orczy, but Heyer exceeds these authors in her development of wonderful characters. Disliked the reading. Delivery was over-dramatised and made the hero screech rather than drawl. conversation was not smooth and the emphasis placed on words not in keeping with the cues in the text. and nowhere in the text was there any indication that Fanny lisped. would avoid this reader
