Authentic encouragement for a life well lived
Revisado: 03-29-24
Chris and Julie do an amazing job narrating. You feel like you’re sitting with them on a cozy couch and hearing their story. They remind us in their story that we are all “practicing” in this life, no matter how much experience we have. Their take always are that we are to :honor all, embrace vulnerability, be humble, make boundaries, forgive daily, and serve freely.
I wish this book had been written when our 4 children were little. They share their authentic story of living life, failing, trying again, and recalibrating many times.
We have many combinations that make up “family.” I don’t want to miss connections with
people in my future, so I’m encouraged to serve others and seek relationships now! Listen to the book and be blessed!

Historia
In his debut book, researcher and advocate Wade Mullen introduces us to the groundbreaking world of impression management - the strategies that individuals and organizations utilize to gain power and cover up their wrongdoings. Mullen reveals a pattern that accompanies many types of abuse, almost as if abusers are somehow reading from the same playbook. If we can learn to decode these evil methods - if we can learn the language of abuse - we can help stop the cycle and make abusers less effective at accomplishing destruction in our lives.

Very informative and helpful
Revisado: 07-12-23
This book is a good read for anyone involved in an organization where something just doesn’t seem right. It helps you clarify issues and know what can be done to help correct them. I enjoyed the authors narration because he was genuinely wanting others to be helped by the information in his book.
