Not your average Zombie thriller

These books were an interesting twist on the average viral outbreak turned zombie thriller genre. You do have to give some leeway for the scientific leaps but nothing that can’t be overcome. If you are an apocalyptic fiend, I believe you will love this box set.

If horn hat Capitol riot guy wrote a book

I chose this book because I love apocalyptic books and Kevin Pierce as a narrator. They go together like peanut butter and jelly. However, this book is mostly fear mongering about protesters. And I cringed on multiple occasions because of the “cat fights.” You want “angry white guy revenge porn”(as another reviewer called it) then this is your book. Plenty of protestors getting killed, victims enduring hours long traffic jams because of them, and over the top violence at the slightest blow of the wind.

Good story but a bit biased

I love this genre and the story line was pretty good. The only problem I had with this book is that the women in it are all shown as unprepared and dependent on the men. The author also seems to have a grudge against poor people and liberals. As a non wealthy, liberal, former soldier, prepper, and a female with her own bug out bag and weapons; I find a few scenarios in this story line difficult to stomach without cringing.
