I really enjoyed this book, but now waiting over a year and still we don't have 2 on audiable. I hate getting into a book and then they never drop the next one.

I listen to A LOT of books! like a ridiculous amount LOL. This book is by far one of my top 3 now. PLEASE release book 2 asap. Such a great listen/book! I needed something like this to come a long. The narrator was amazing as well. Well Done!

insufferable

I got this book because I been enjoying lady of darkness. but this dynamic is disgusting. The Stockholm syndrome is too much. The forced slave behavior ans breaking down of humanity is sad. I struggled through it till I couldn't anymore. I was hoping it would get better and when my stomach actually started hurting I had to stop.

I waited so long for this second book and for the first 4-6 hours of this book I had to keep starting chapters over cause I would pass out. It was SO boring. How book 1 ended was great but this has been painful to get through. Another book stretched out just to make more books

Entire Book prep for war

This was so boring! I've been waiting and waiting for this next book to come out, and I'm pretty disappointed. I love this story, and the narrator is amazing 👏 BUT, this entire book is pretty much just recruiting and preparing for the war with "The Lord." With like 1 or 2 tidbits of Lexy learning that new powers about herself. I still have 2 hours left, but this is painful.
Now done, last about 2 hours was the war and now we're gonna have to wait again for an entire 7-9hour book on how to get Cole back to normal along with the rest of our characters after the war and Lexy getting used to ruling.
I do very much like this story. I just feel like it didn't need to be so many books. I won't give up on this story cause the first few books were amazing, and I'm invested now and our reader/narrator definitely makes up for it.

NEEDS TO BE WARNING!!!

I enjoyed this book. I haven't in a whine enjoyed a story. But there absolutely e NEEDS to be a warning of rape, and brutally detailed rape. I wasn't expecting it to be explained like that. I predicted it coming due to some foreshadowing, but audiable needs to put a warning in the details before ppl buy it! as well as LGBTQ! Some people except that but not into it.

The narrator did amazing. I have A LOT of audiable books and she is really good. I think some ppl just have a preference and listen to the sample before u buy or use a credit. This was a good story and performance.

I've been waiting and waiting. I liked Warwick n the boys POV. Tho keeping Eva would have been perfect because she's so good absolutely amazing. I'm happy to have a good book to listen to while working again. Halfway through already. One thing I hate is things being drawn out too much, just for another book. So many authors do this nowadays. It drives me crazy. Also exciting to have Eli and Ember show up.

narrator is good imo

I see a lot of complaints about the narrator. However, TRUST me, there can be so much worse. I can see why people wouldn't jive with her because she's very melodic and boring with not a lot of inflections, but she's not awful. Also, if there's going to be more books, I'd rather them keep her than getting a new one because then it ruins an audiable book.

MC is SO Annoying & Stupid

The main character is one of the most stupid annoying characters in a book I've ever read. The book could be SO MUCH better if there was a better way as to why the MC chooses and does certain things she does with him. She's so incredibly dumb that no one even a child would act the way she does half the time.
This book has potential, but with the MC so stupid makes it annoying and juvenile
