Historia
Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

Historia
There are laws that govern the spiritual world just as there are laws that govern the physical realm. Electricity has been around since the beginning of the world, but mankind didn't benefit from electricity until recently, not because it didn't work, but because of our ignorance of the laws of electricity. Likewise, God's healing is here and available. It's only our ignorance of the laws which control the flow of God's power that keeps us from benefiting from it.

We need to talk about this as Christians more often and encourage each other in God’s love for us.

Historia
Before you can resolve the issues of our day, you must be able to clarify them. Terms like same-sex marriage, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gay Christian are parts of daily discourse, yet enormous controversy surrounds them. They are the stuff of news headlines and vitriolic social media posts. But they also reflect stirrings of the heart in real people with real questions and concerns.

Inspiring and open

Rosaria’s habit of reading her own manuscripts is so important. I wish more authors would do this. This book is similar to her first book and third book; maybe a combo of them. I was a little lost in her theology of gay and lesbian issues. Her third book focuses almost solely on
hospitality, which I loved.
