Historia
It is freezing in the churchyard, even before the dead arrive. Every year, Blue Sargent stands next to her clairvoyant mother as the soon-to-be dead walk past. Blue herself never sees them - not until this year, when a boy emerges from the dark and speaks directly to her. His name is Gansey, and Blue soon discovers that he is a rich student at Aglionby, the local private school. Blue has a policy of staying away from Aglionby boys. Known as Raven Boys, they can only mean trouble. But Blue is drawn to Gansey, in a way she can't entirely explain.

Could not ask for anything more
Revisado: 04-03-25
This is my favorite series of all time. Maggie’s writing is beautiful and conveys feelings I’ve never put names to.
Will is EXCELLENT. Such a distinct style and way of approaching the reading that is almost a character of its own.

Historia
Greece in the age of heroes. Patroclus, an awkward young prince, has been exiled to the kingdom of Phthia to be raised in the shadow of King Peleus and his golden son, Achilles. “The best of all the Greeks”—strong, beautiful, and the child of a goddess—Achilles is everything the shamed Patroclus is not. Yet despite their differences, the boys become steadfast companions. Their bond deepens as they grow into young men and become skilled in the arts of war and medicine—much to the displeasure and the fury of Achilles’ mother, Thetis, a cruel sea goddess with a hatred of mortals.

Excellent performance, decent story
Revisado: 06-29-24
The reading performance was great! Really drew me into what was otherwise a very shallow telling of the tale of Achilles

Best of the dragon stories
Revisado: 05-03-24
Really well done and well balanced between romance, action, and political intrigue, excellent reading though I thought Annie’s narration was a little slow at times. Highly recommend the series and the audio!

Historia
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

Worth pushing through!
Revisado: 05-22-23
The first couple chapters were tough for me, but it got better and better! At times a little predictable, bit I didn’t mind because it always leaned towards where I was hoping the story would go. I liked the narration style, though sometimes got pulled out of it because she was clearly fighting a cold or something. Overall a great story and a great listen!

Historia
A devastating disaster has left the Forbidden Court in ashes, its fountains destroyed, and its magic at risk. It was destined as the site of Trynne Kiskaddon’s coronation as empress. Now, all Trynne can imagine is the roar of flames, the cries of Gahalatine’s people, and the smell of cinders in a city gone dark. Tragic as the threat to Kingfountain is, it’s nowhere near as foul as the treachery posed by Morwenna.

A tale as epic as the Chronicles of Narnia
Revisado: 05-20-23
I love this series, and see it fitting in with all the epics I read as a kid, full of adventures and lessons. I’m sad to see the kingfountain story come to an end.
