The storyline that concludes the storyline from a couple other books came to a great spin with interesting twists and turns. JD Robb really knows how to keep a person going. Every time I read or listen I get something new from the book!

I am listening to it again now. The series is well written and the characters well developed. Susan Ericksen does an excellent job of giving them life.
What did you like best about this story?
This is the first book when Peabody and McNab hook up - so its great to see that unfold.
What about Susan Ericksen’s performance did you like?
She is excellent in every book - breathing life into the characters she portrays.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is such a great introduction to an excellent series of novels. I love the way that JD Robb develops the characters in a way that they are real people. You start to feel like you know these characters and can anticipate their thoughts and actions because you become part of the story yourself. What joy to lose yourself in the series!
Which character – as performed by Susan Ericksen – was your favorite?
I love Mavis. She's one of my favorite characters - and though she never has as big of a role in the books as I would like - the role she plays is memorable each time - and Susan Ericksen brings her to life!

Would you try another book from Ellen DeGeneres and/or Ellen DeGeneres?
I like Ellen - I like her show and I think she's incredibly smart and funny. However, I found this book to be lacking in all areas. it wasn't smart - it and worse - it wasn't very funny. I read that in other reviews and thought - well they just don't like her enough and don't have a good sense of humor. Wrong.... I really should have taken the other reviews to heart.
Has Seriously...I'm Kidding turned you off from other books in this genre?
Not necessarily - but I'll think twice before getting another from Ellen.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
disappointment. I really like Ellen - and thought the book would be better than the other reviews mentioned. I was wrong. I should have taken to heart what the other reviews said.

What did you love best about Memory in Death?
I enjoyed the look into Eve's past. More than just the stuff we get in every book regarding her father - but more about what happened after she was put into the system. I'd love to see more of this kind of thing in the books... and less of the stuff before she was 8.
