With nothing to lose, Nate climbs back inside, confronts the robbers, and with his military training, starts taking them out, one by one. The last man standing leaves Nate with a cryptic warning: “He will make you pay in ways you can’t imagine.” Soon enough, Nate learns what this means.

Historia
Marie-Laure lives with her father in Paris near the Museum of Natural History, where he works as the master of its thousands of locks. When she is six, Marie-Laure goes blind and her father builds a perfect miniature of their neighborhood so she can memorize it by touch and navigate her way home. When she is 12, the Nazis occupy Paris and father and daughter flee to the walled citadel of Saint-Malo, where Marie-Laure’s reclusive great-uncle lives in a tall house by the sea. With them they carry what might be the museum’s most valuable and dangerous jewel.

The narrator was ok. Not much emotion. I had read so many great reviews on this audiobook but I found that I couldn’t stay focused on the story. As I was listening my mind was wandering maybe because I couldn’t connect. There were too many disjointed stories going on

Left me confused
Revisado: 09-01-23
I had a hard time finishing this book. But was determined to finish since everyone had so many good things to say about it. The performance was extremely good. The small amount of piano music didn’t bother me. But I found the names of the characters made it hard for me to follow their story. I think the story was good but just hard to follow. I am not sure i would read another by this author
