We are all vulnerable to addiction. Whether it’s a compulsion to constantly check social media, binge eating, smoking, excessive drinking, or any other behaviors, we may find ourselves uncontrollably repeating. Why are bad habits so hard to overcome? Is there a key to conquering the cravings we know are unhealthy for us? This book provides groundbreaking answers to the most important questions about addiction.

Poor Narrator & Not Always Relatable
Revisado: 04-25-24
Based on the science of mediation, compulsive habits and addiction, the content is solid if not sometimes boring. The narrator sounds like its AI generated and takes a bit to tolerate. The author should have partnered with actual patients or a psychiatrist with actual personal addiction recovery as his examples land as privileged and out of touch, such as being "addicted" to Lance Armstrong. The straight cis gender male author comes off as someone who probably isn't ever going to struggle with real addiction, not because of any greatness other than he isn't wired that way and finds it easy to enjoy the mundane minutiae of life.

Historia
If you listen to the news, robots are coming for your job. Full-time employment will soon be a thing of the past as organizations opt more to hire employees on a contract basis. With technological advances across email, video, project management, and instant messaging platforms, being tied to a desk working full time for one company is becoming obsolete. So, where does that leave you? The Human Cloud may be the most important book you hear to prepare for how work is done in the future.

A little repetitive
Revisado: 04-18-21
A little repetitive but overall useful and gets you thinking more innovatively about the future of work and what might be possible to use the rapidly changing world to your advantage
