Historia
Amelia Bedelia is the world's most literal-minded housekeeper, who causes quite a ruckus whenever she's given a chance. In "Amelia Bedelia and the Surprise Shower", she arrives with a garden hose and the party is turned into an uproarious mess. In "Play Ball, Amelia Bedelia", her literal-mindedness adds a new dimension to the game of baseball, and "Thank You, Amelia Bedelia" features Amelia Bedelia "pairing" the vegetables and separating the eggs.

great
Revisado: 10-19-10
These are many stories of Amelia Bedelia bungling things up. The items that Amelia confuses are really outdated and above the kids heads. But my kids, ages 5 and 7, really like it.

Funny
Revisado: 10-19-10
It took us a few listenings to love this one but now we do. It is a few short stories that are funny with funny voices and plots. The reader/author is unusual and animated. The cover story is about a girl who eats too many cookies and turns into one. My kids ages 5 and 7 love it.

Not for young children
Revisado: 10-19-10
We bought this from our search labeled for children 0-4 years. It definately was for a mature, upper elementary to middle school age. It is a very sad story about a girl who is teased, unloved and in a dysfunctional family who in the end gets turned over to child welfare. To deal with her life, the little girl uses her imagination with the a doll house and bear dolls to act out a happy life. It is really heavy with issues to explain and discuss. For an adolecent, it is a good story.
