ONE OF MY FAVORITES IN THE SERIES

If you made it this far in the series you know and probably love our good Spellmonger and his lords and ladies. This book takes us someplace completely new and exciting. I couldn't contain my laughter in some parts and wanted to shed a tear in others.

This book will leave you wanting and needing the next two books in the series. Good reading my friends!

Missing half the story

I purchased and listened to the three-book box set and really wanted to like it. My problem is simply the lack of some crucial character and story details. The story is about him being the chosen one but the interaction with the fount and Joe never goes anywhere. The details are just missing. He gets better shooting skills and can move faster but there are no better details to explain the interaction between the character and the new deity of the age. The introduction of his father tries to do it but it just misses the mark. No substance!

The book feels rushed at the ending with one "bad guy" still at large.

This was a disappointment for me.

Family drama, super humans and a promotion! YEAH!

This is turning out to be one of the funniest series I've listened to in a while. If you're looking for a serious read or a life-changing epiphany this is not your book. But if you want some great comedy, really good writing and a great narrator then this is the series for you. Andrea Vernon is a badass Queens New Yorker who continues to navigate her odd job as Administrative Assistant for CUP while still contractually obligated to never ask questions! Ever. The story is complete comic book fiction but the way its written makes you think about every BS corporate highrise job you ever had or wanted and then laugh at it! Bahni Turpin is the perfect narrator for this series with her perfect timing and great voice selection for each character. I hope we don't have to wait long for book three!

I really wanted to enjoy this book, but I just couldn't get into it. If it hadn't taken me over 30 days to get through it I would return this one. It's reeeealy long but no substance. This is one man's opinion.

Great Story and writing

This is an epic tale that just keeps going. TONS of dialogue between characters and some fluff. of course it's hard to not have fluff in a 31 hour book!

Would you consider the audio edition of Orconomics: A Satire to be better than the print version?

Sorry, the audio version is the only one I've enjoyed!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Well, it would be easy to answer Gorm since he is the main character and a really nice guy. So I'm going to have to go with Kaitha. That little lady has it going on and has huge potential!

What does Doug Tisdale Jr. bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tisdale is a master character reader, it was easy to tell the difference in the characters and there was a ton of life in his reading! Pike should make sure he reads the sequel.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Hell hath no fury like a goddess scorned!

I had a ton of fun with this book and can't wait for the next one. It's a little slow on the startup but the ride gets going pretty well! Well written and definitely well performed.

Certainly not the quality of book one

A great narrator helped but could not save this one. I really enjoyed book one but this one seemed like it never got off the ground. The worst part is I am guaranteed to buy book three.

I just couldn't get into this book. Had to return it after the first couple hours. The narrator was great but the story just wasn't engaging me.
