This book should be required reading for every high school student. The circumstances are described in a very real yet non-lurid fashion. Excellent choice of narrators. An astounding look at the horrors mankind can perpetuate on itself, and the resilience of children. Hope lives on.

I usually have great patience with audio books but this one seemed a lot longer than 13 hours, with unsympathetic characters and confusing shifts in the timeline of the story. Might be interesting to those questioning their marital choice.
