I usually don’t write reviews but this book has keep my attention for 3 days straight! RC Bray depth into these characters l can’t wait for the next one.

I am not going to lie, I feel like I should have been paid to have read this. Not that it was totally bad, but it should never be compared to the Dresden Files! I do believe that the author mirrored some of the key "jewels" of the Dresden Files.

The story was like a middle school read. You know how you use to take lunch outside on the steps reading a book and you have the "cheese sandwich" smell wafting out of the school! Yep, this is a cheesy read! Justis didn't whine as much as a lot of reviews said but he was too one dimensional to make me even like or listen to him. I kept find myself wonder what I would cook for dinner or which class I was going to do at the gym! That is how boring he is. The supporting characters are just as bad and lack any kind of emotion at all! Well, maybe his ex-partner; what’s her name….yep….nope. See that is how I feel about all the characters, they are forgettable and lacking layers! And the falling in love part was werid also, they fall in love very quick and even that was dry!!! The plot was will predictable and again missing something. The only really good thing about this book was mist part (or however you spell it). I might give this series another try, but haven’t decided yet

Would you consider the audio edition of The Long Way Down to be better than the print version?

Yes, the audio has it where you can picture each characters reaction to the events in the story.

What did you like best about this story?

The plot was familiar but still offered enought twist and turns to make it enjoyable.

Daniel.

This was a shock! And not in a bad way:-) This book was really good and I hate the fact that I feel like I am the last one to know about this series. Daniel is a very likable character and he is not the normal black and white kind of guy. Meaning he is not all good and defiantly not bad, he is the character that you all "cheer" for but then hate to see win. Because most of the time the win is so horrible that it makes you feel dirty. Yep, almost like he cheated; but the really-really bad guys did get what they deserved. I will say this, I will be reading the rest of this series! The plot was really good and there were enough twist and turns that you wanted to keep reading to see how this all played out. Daniel's occult family is another great addition to this series and I hated when one of the members got killed. However, this was necessary to let the readers know that Daniels family takes care of their own people. Anyways, I hate to give away anything that could be a spoiler; but if you like the Dresden files this is defiantly a series you should read.

Wow! Very nicely done for a 1st novel!!!

This zombie story was nicely done and had some nice new elements! The different types of undead was a great addition and I can't wait to see how the author incorporates and develop these key elements. Can't wait for the next book!!!

I am a big fan of Larry Correia! And love the Grimnoir series, this short story doesn't disappoint matter of fact it makes you want more. Great addition to an already fantastic series!!!

What made the experience of listening to The Curious Case of the Clockwork Man the most enjoyable?

The flow of the story was like water in the river, easy to understand; but complex enough to keep you listen!!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Curious Case of the Clockwork Man?

Too many good parts for me to just have one:-)

The characters reactions to each other in a serious but funny way.
