That was fantastic! I especially love the historical references and comparisons to our modern military leadership. It’s been several years now, but I really hope to hear more from this man, and I hope to see the desired changes to the corrupt system. I hope I can help my country in some way more than just voting and serving during a failed conflict

Brilliantly written

The reader is tortured with hope throughout this, but it gives such a vivid description of what government is capable of when it makes itself god. Stripping people of dignity, independence and humanity, the worst part is the press to denounce loved ones and family. In a society like this, everything seems bland, tasteless and grey. I thoroughly enjoyed and….did not enjoy reading this simultaneously.

Not a fan of how it was read.

I loved this book, such an awesome story of faith and sacrifice. I was not a fan of the reader because he read it without much emotion and it really felt like a documentary than a harrowing adventure of faith that these missionaries embarked on. Overall, I loved it regardless of the that one point.
