Big let down to the buildup
Revisado: 09-07-23
The oath of vayuputras is so not the title for this book as it gets so lost in the other elements of the story that you actually don’t even remember what oath did they took and was protecting. Some of the scenes which are wrote for the main character does not make sense as if they are marketing the book as a “godly figure becomes human and go on his adventure,” then its a big mess, after an heartbreaking moment, as everybody was expecting some big form of destruction via main character out of retribution as it has been in the original history of sanatan dharm. They just made him quite the opposite and frankly not someone you want to root for. The climax was very very boring compared to what it was building towards as something huge.

The whole concept is amazing but…
Revisado: 09-07-23
The concept of how dharm is explained to someone who is not aware of sanatan dharm is quite interesting. The main characters however has no growth of their own which makes it hard to have a grip. For example this might be a tricky way to put it but the concept of show don’t tell has not been executed to the full extent as it should. Shiva the Main character has all the qualities to take things forward and we hear it from different characters too but we are not able to see the full extent of his might. And that godly aura around him is missing. Other than that, since this is Mr. Tripathi’s first book it shows that his writing skills were a little hard to have a flow for readers and not that investing into the story. But apart from everything, the detail explanation of dharm and connecting it with science was a superb execution and the whole thing works somehow. Kudos to Mr. Tripathi for this achievement.
