The book is engaging. I had to buy the Kindle version though. The narrator has a soft voice and trails off on words frequently. Not a good fit for some ears apparently.

Indulgent and predictable - Netflix for sure

The story drags, ponderous and indulgent. This should have been two books, but stopping in the middle nobody would have bought a second installment.

This is a solid effort for modern fiction and guaranteed to be turned into a Netflix multi part series. Mandatory political boxes are checked; diverse representation, men are generally amoral or evil, women are generally morally superior and victims, examples of true/sacrificial love are non-traditional.

On the bright side the heroine isn’t a super hero so that’s pleasant. I did learn a great deal about painting too so that was a nice bonus.

The author has real potential as a story teller. Make the money you need with this Netflix pulp these then write the books you want to write please.

Blind DNC sycophant much?

It takes King’s imagination to be this much of a blind DNC sycophant. This is the first King book I don’t think I’ll finish.

We know you love the DNC King. We know you feel morally superior because you trumpet big government to help those upon whom you look down. You don’t get to vote for child sacrifice and be morally superior. Sorry not sorry. Great book without all the hate for non Socialists.

Life changing book

This book is thorough and detailed while remaining engaging. I had great success pre COVID with this process and am circling back now to restore my health. Simply put this works and is doable.

Well crafted but lacking in one area

This is a thorough and enjoyable evisceration of the ideas, schemes and tactics of today’s Leftists.

I can’t buy in to D’Souza’s assertion that we will have jobs in the future because inventors will create them.

I hope he’s right and I’m wrong, but I see no evidence of sustainable future employment. “They’re not here yet” is not a comforting response.

A better argument might be made for skilled labor jobs going forward? Unless/until those are roboticized as well. Did I invent a word there?

Anyway - overall another job well done D’Souza.

Better than the movie

The narrator was by far the best aspect of this audiobook. Minimally better than the film. Still leaves too many questions unanswered.

Matthews does it again

Mike has put together an effective and interesting yet pithy book to help us help ourselves and one another. This is far more than a workout book. I’m still working on implementation, but there are great concepts here. Listening on Audible was great. Nobody can do your work justice like you. I look forward to his next effort.
