Riveting, quietly intense, then harrowing finale

Could not put this down… basically listening to it non-stop throughout my day running errands, doing chores, etc… A cerebral and emotional roller coaster that’s worth it, I so want to have my whole family over for a listening party. Just to see their faces and reactions.

Best narration I’ve ever heard. So wonderfully acted. So so enjoyable to listen to. Ray Porter is either a genius actor/narrator or this writing was a perfect match for his amazing talent, or perhaps both! Rarely cry and laugh out loud with an audible book but the writing and acting had me fully immersed with the main character. And the creative imagination, science and engineering infused into this epic tale by Andy Weir’s unique, masterful storytelling is nothing short of awesome!!
What a fun ride. Thank you Andy and Ray and the team that produced this. It is an absolute audible masterpiece.

Phenomenal character development and a truly epic and elaborate journey. Couldn’t put it down. One of the most intricate and futuristic depictions of the solar system and interplanetary culture, economy, political and military operations conceivable. Grounded in very well designed ties back to present day cultural, geopolitical, technological aspects of society. Much more sophisticated than your average sci fi alien adventure.
