Twists but almost annoying?

It had potential

I don’t think there was one likable character in this whole book. The plot had potential, but the writing seemed so juvenile and a lot of filler that seemed so redundant. No real character development. I felt no connection to any of them and felt myself annoyed at most of it. With all of that said, there were some decent plot twists and it served its purpose for entertainment, but I don’t recommend it.

A new King favorite

As a long time fan of King, I fell in love with his character Holly from previous books. There are a lot of negative reviews regarding politic and Covid but you have to understand the book was written during Covid and the crazy political drama that has since escalated and his writing of a story about Holly matched the character. Mr. King admits he feels similar the views of this character, but it’s not a political soapbox as some are suggesting. The story is amazing and terrifying.

A wonderful look into something we may not understand

I’ve read some negative reviews before purchasing. People who felt that political views were being pushed by this story. I must say I disagree. Yes, a part of the plot may be something that has come up politically, however I feel both writers did an excellent job wringing a sad, but an insightful story. It’s a story I’ll remember for years. I’ve learned a lot from it and I hope others do as well.
