Historia
Rezkin is an elite warrior who aims to restore order in Ashai after Caydean's attack on the King's Tournament transformed former allies and trading partners into enemies. With no army and only a ragtag group of refugees, Rezkin must wrest control of the kingdom from the mad and powerful usurper, who seems bent on destruction, and this may not be the biggest challenge. If he fails, the kingdom will be ripped apart, and Rezkin will have violated Rule 1 - to protect and honor his friends.

Seemed rushed
Revisado: 12-09-17
I loved the first two books but this one seemed rushed and departed from the first two in a big way. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t exceptional either. If this was a tv show it would be a filler episode.

The good, the bad, and the terrible.
Revisado: 03-11-17
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The main antagonist is a spooky cloud god that cant be killed.
What other book might you compare A Warrior's Path to and why?
Children's stories and bad romance novels. The plots a bit unpredictable in the first book but becomes transparent and boring throughout the rest of the series.
What about Nick Podehl’s performance did you like?
He's and excellent narrator and managed to keep me interested in this series long after i normally would have left.
Was A Warrior's Path worth the listening time?
Book 1 yes, book two was like prime time television. it kept my interest but ultimately i knew i had better things to do with my time. Book three i regret even spending the two hours that i did listening to it. There are day time soap operas that are better written.
Any additional comments?
The author caught my attention in the first book. i really liked the primes of the casts and the armies of chimeras with he then lost my attention by making the main antagonist and insane spooky cloud ghost that cant be killed by the bad ass main character he spent most of the first book building up. also the fast that the author or narrator elected to use the word "Fort" instead of the word forte drives me nuts.

Historia
Rukh Shektan and Jessira Grey struggle to reach the OutCaste city of Stronghold before winter's snow bars all passages. Their travels test Rukh's will and hope as Chimeras hound their footsteps, but the most difficult challenge proves to be Stronghold itself. The city is not as Jessira described.

Spectacular
Revisado: 01-22-16
After I listened to fear the sky I eagerly checked audible every week to see when this boom would be available. Now after having listened to it nearly a year after fear the sky I have to say it was well worth the wait. Fear the survivors is deep, complex, and never seases to surprise. Its full of twists and turns that will keep you on edge until the very last second. Make sure you clear your schedule and buy lots of coffee because you wont even want to sleep once this book wraps is midnight black hands around your throat and burrows its way into your skull.

Historia
In the 25th century, humans have conquered space. The advent of faster-than-light travel has opened up hundreds of habitable planets for colonization, and humans have exploited the virtually limitless space and resources for hundreds of years with impunity. So complacent have they become with the overabundance that armed conflict is a thing of the past, and their machines of war are obsolete and decrepit. What would happen if they were suddenly threatened by a terrifying new enemy?

One of the best titles I have listened to.
Revisado: 11-26-15
Summary I loved it.
I loved the story progression and the characters. I have listened to quite a few of the space and scifi books on audible and this definitely ranks in the top three series. It was well written with situations that were plausible and it didn't have any annoying plot holes that revolved around so called career military personnel not asking simple and frankly basic questions like some other series I know. (the star force series) Questions that any truly thorough officer would want to know straight away. But I digress.
I'm very interested to see how the story progresses from here. It has a lot of potential. Though I wish the story was a bit longer. I hate spending credits on books that are less than 12hours.

I hate it, I love it.
Revisado: 08-20-15
The first two books in the series drew me and wouldn't let me know. By the end of the third book I was frustrated beyond belief that the author had taken the story in the direction that he had. So much so that I wouldn't even have listened to the 4th book had I not already purchased it. However, having now finished the forth book I have to say that the story was brilliantly executed and I'm very pleased with how it ended.
The only negative I have with the entire series at this point is the A.I voice narration.
