Historia
Myse Delione was an adopted child who, when she was 10 years of age, began to share her thoughts with her adopted mother. “When I grow up, I will live in a big house with nice things, wear nice clothes and be a model for the world,” she would say to her mother every morning on her way to school. “Well you can’t, so forget about it,” her mother would respond, “and don’t ever let me hear you say that again.” “OK mama. I won’t,” Myse always replied.

Great Story!!

I was very much intrigued by the outcome of the story. Also I might add that I was very encouraged that the story culminated with expressed faith in Christ. I loved it!

Historia
The standout memoir from NBA powerhouse Andre Iguodala, the indomitable sixth man of the champion Golden State Warriors. Andre Iguodala is one of the most admired players in the NBA. And fresh off the Warriors’ third NBA championship in the last four years, his game has never been stronger. Off the court, Iguodala has earned respect, too - for his successful tech investments, his philanthropy, and increasingly for his contributions to the conversation about race in America.

I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I learned a lot and you confirmed a lot of my suspicions about what goes on in the league. The story was well written and I could visualize most of his accounts and remember many of the important moments over his career and it was great to hear from him how it really felt. There were times where I would be forced to an outward sigh and then there were times where I was forced to an outloud laugh! Thanks so much Iggy, I wish you all the best!

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Historia
Aretha Franklin began life as the golden daughter of a progressive and promiscuous Baptist preacher. Raised without her mother, she was a gospel prodigy who gave birth to two sons in her teens and left them and her native Detroit for New York, where she struggled to find her true voice. It was not until 1967, when a white Jewish producer insisted she return to her gospel-soul roots, that fame and fortune finally came via "Respect" and a rapidfire string of hits.

Brutal, at times. But Interesting
Revisado: 10-10-18
The narration was excellent. He kept you engaged from character to character. The story was informative. it does lead me to want to read from my roots to hear Arethas views. It does appear very believable.
