We already rely on science to tell us what to eat, when to exercise, and how long to sleep. Why not use science to help us improve our relationships? In this revolutionary book, psychiatrist and neuroscientist Dr. Amir Levine and Rachel Heller scientifically explain why some people seem to navigate relationships effortlessly, while others struggle.

Great for all ages!

My kids can't get enough of the story and characters in this series. From trying to unravel the mysteries to imagining the characters through art, they have been inspired by it all. Highly recommend having a listen. An added bonus is that even the adults in the family have enjoyed the story line. Makes a great book to travel with.

Historia
In Boundaries in Marriage, Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend, counselors and authors of the New York Times bestseller Boundaries, teach us that healthy boundaries are the property lines that define and protect you and your spouse as individuals. Once you have them in place, a good marriage can become better, and a less-than-satisfying one can even be saved.

I did not feel through the whole book
Revisado: 02-13-22
The description of this book does not match up with the first 5 minutes I listened to. The book starts off with scripture, so it is not for a person looking for evidence based information on relationships. I will not be finishing it. It's not for me.

Historia
Today, most of us communicate from behind electronic screens, and studies show that Americans feel less connected and more divided than ever before. The blame for some of this disconnect can be attributed to our political landscape, but the erosion of our conversational skills as a society lies with us as individuals. And the only way forward, says Headlee, is to start talking to each other. In We Need to Talk, she outlines the strategies that have made her a better conversationalist - and offers simple tools that can improve anyone's communication.
