Historia
When I meet Julian Ashburn, the reclusive frontman of indie-rock legends Breaking Giants, I do what any sane woman would do. Embarrass myself, then insult him. Because you only live once, right? Besides, keeping my distance from the enigmatic songwriting genius is an act of self-preservation. Julian is dangerous - a pool of kerosine to my pyromaniac. I have a weakness for broken men.

 Complaining
Revisado: 01-21-24
First off, I am a proud, Seattle native and I honestly love the weather, Rose feels fake like she’s trying to hard to be something that she’s not, honestly she sounds way more like a Californian living in Seattle then a Seattle native. However, I could not get into the store at all, I’m not sure it’s the narration or the personalities of all the characters, but I just did not feel anything, the characters felt flat in one dimensional. The characters are really immature in a lot of ways, and I think the story would’ve benefited from a duet narration, or at least having somebody read the Mail parts of the story, if you do, give this book a chance be ready for a lot of complaining.

This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

Revisado: 04-06-23
I really love the voice acting, it’s amazing, the personality of the characters comes across really well and it’s super enjoyable to listen to, even though I didn’t love every couples story, I really enjoyed how they were presented. this was very easy to listen to, it’s fun flirty and sweet. I definitely will listen to it again. I guess I would recommend it to anybody who likes fluffy romance without much if any drama or anxiety etc.

Historia
Zoey Rivers has an unusual job. She's the Chief of Staff at a retirement home, which doesn't sound odd on its own, but when you consider it's a retirement home for witches and other paranormals, the strange factor ratchets up. And, with a facility full of partly senile but still powerful witches, things go hilariously awry fast.

Not what I was expecting
Revisado: 01-02-22
First off hope is very ridiculous as a character I can’t stand her, second, the main character is flat, she has little to no personality, everything feels like a high school story, everyone is so immature, the senior citizens are fine technically, it’s everyone else is supposed to be in authority, that seems like it’s an after school special, the magic is not as prevalent as I would’ve liked, and the narration is not The best, all the females and all the males sound alike, so it’s difficult to know what’s going on, with each book I expected the story to pick up and go somewhere, but it honestly just falls flat, and nobody grass your attention or does anything different everybody has a weird submissive streak,, it’s like watching a TV show where everybody has poor acting skills, and are trying to overcompensate, and fail at the delivery each time, no matter if they’re trying to be funny, angry, upset, etc. they fail at everything in this book. As a series this is a letdown

Dated and weekending
Revisado: 03-11-21
First off I’ve never knowingly read anything from this author before, I have to say the story has a lot of build up but very little delivery, it’s quite obvious what happens and the ending is weak, the reasoning for a lot of the actions are not well presented and the entire book has a very dated feel to it, the narration for the male characters are honestly terrible, especially given the fact that it basically gives the entire story away

It gets better at the end
Revisado: 03-10-21
Personally I did not like how the narrator did raise voice, it was not attractive nor was the description of Ray attractive in the actual story, but pushing pass all of that I thought Stephanie‘s character was fantastic, she was funny engaging and definitely kept me listening, the story is all right, I’m only giving it three stars because honestly a lot of the situation could’ve been avoided with actual communication, and I felt that the passion and romance wasn’t really there

Historia
When Hannah learns that her sister Michelle's boyfriend, Detective Lonnie Murphy, is the prime suspect in a murder case, she goes straight from a movie studio sound stage to the Los Angeles airport. Back in frigid Minnesota, she discovers that proving Lonnie's innocence will be harder than figuring out what went wrong with a recipe. Lonnie remembers only parts of the night he went out to a local bar and ended up driving a very impaired woman home.

It was OK
Revisado: 08-11-20
The mystery was OK, a little convoluted, a little too much like a sitcom in parts, but overall it wasn’t bad, typical for how the series has turned out in the last few installments, I honestly do not like this narrator for the series, most if not all of the men sound the exact same, and none of them sound attractive in anyway shape or form, which makes it hard to listen to their dialogue as well as be interested in what they’re saying, end it also makes the transitions between memories, dreams, and other characters difficult to keep track of throughout the entire story, this would be an easier read if it was a different narrator or multiple narrators

Historia
As an NHL player, relationships haven't been my thing. Shrouded in secrecy and speculation, they never last very long. But then that's what happens when you require an NDA before the first date. Until Charlene. She's like a firefly. She's elusive, and if you catch her she'll burn bright, but keeping her trapped dulls her fire and dims her beauty. I caught her. And as much as I might want to keep her, I'll never put the lid on her jar. Not at the risk of losing her. So I've let her set the rules in our relationship.

Not for me
Revisado: 03-19-20
I think the narration was really good I like that there were male and female voicing the characters, I was interested up in till about chapter 10, I really just didn’t like the parents of either character they were very unnecessary, and I just didn’t really enjoy that storyline at all, I thought the romance was kind of interesting sweet but overall it wasn’t for me at times it almost felt like a parity, some of the humor just didn’t seem like a fit the characters, and I should’ve started this from the beginning of the series instead of jumping in at a book so late in the series

Nice story with a lot of twists.
Revisado: 05-07-18
I had no real thoughts going in on how I felt the story would turn out, I am happy to say this story shocked me with how good it was. The overall plot sounds so crazy, but once you see how thing unfold it starts to pull you into the world, and you really get to see things from the characters POV.
I love all the twists and turns, and how each character brings something to the plot, be it big or small each moment is worth hearing. The voiceover is amazing and brings the action to life, and I really enjoyed the ending of the book.
I was given this free copy in return for my honest review.
