Historia
For years the provinces of Deverry have been in turmoil; now, the conflict escalates with the kidnapping of Rhodry Maelwaedd, heir to the throne of Aberwyn. Intent on rescuing him, his beloved Jill and the elven wizard Salamander infiltrate the distant land of Bardex, where Rhodry is held captive. Tied to Deverry by obligation and circumstance, the immortal wizard Nevyn begins to see that all the kingdom's problems can be traced to a single source: a master of dark magics, backed by a network of evil that stretches across the sea.

My only complaint is that it ends here for now
Revisado: 09-06-20
I love these books so much, as I have for decades, and these audio versions are splendid. But it's quite the tease to only have the first four. There's so much story left to tell, and I know the end of it less well than I know the beginning, so I'd especially love to have audio versions of the later books.

Historia
Even as a young girl, Jill was a favorite of the magical, mysterious Wildfolk, who appeared to her from their invisible realm. Little did she know her extraordinary friends represented but a glimpse of a forgotten past and a fateful future. Four hundred years - and many lifetimes ago - one selfish young lord caused the death of two innocent lovers. Then and there he vowed never to rest until he'd righted that wrong - and laid the foundation for the lives of Jill and all those whom she would hold dear.

I've been waiting 20 years for this
Revisado: 07-26-20
These were my favorite books when I was younger, and I loved them so much I read them onto tapes to make my own audio books. Listening to this narration of a book I practically know by heart was a bit of a revelation, and it felt like I was reading this beloved book again for the first time. Highly, highly recommend.

Historia
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. The Fault in Our Stars is insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw. It brilliantly explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

I am a better person because I read this book
Revisado: 07-15-14
What did you love best about The Fault in Our Stars?
Yes, this is technically a YA novel, and I'm 33. It's just pure genius. I'm madly in love with both of the main characters, and I want them to come live in my house with me forever. There are very few books where I can honestly say, "I'm a better person because I read this book." It's a really, really short list, actually. But I am. Thank you, John Green. This book is amazing.

Historia
In her latest enchanting novel, New York Times best-selling author Sarah Addison Allen invites you to a quirky little Southern town with more magic than a full Carolina moon. Here two very different women discover how to find their place in the world - no matter how out of place they feel. Emily Benedict came to Mullaby, North Carolina, hoping to solve at least some of the riddles surrounding her mother’s life. Such as, why did Dulcie Shelby leave her hometown so suddenly? And why did she vow never to return?

Just delicious
Revisado: 08-12-10
I really can't rave about Sarah Addison Allen enough. Her books are sweet, charming, and just full of the most wonderful Romance (love stories, not bodice-ripping). They're also beautiful when read aloud. I'm sure it helps that I grew up in North Carolina, but when I listen to them, I always feel a little like a kid listening to grown-up fairy tales. Also, there aren't many great English-language novels that are magical realism.
