A Good Read
Revisado: 03-26-25
I actually read Once Upon A Crime first and it made me want to read this one because it referenced this one a few times. It was really good and had me on the edge of my seat. It started with action and ended very sweet…a Happy Ending if you please. Definitely recommend if you like what I call a an “Action Romance” book.

An Awesome Story
Revisado: 10-15-24
This was an awesome story. The Epilogue leaves me wishing this was a series. It left me wanting so much more. The way the two stories collide at the end is a work of art. I really do wish the author would consider adding to this story. If you like period pieces, you would really love this one.

Lovely Holiday Read
Revisado: 12-01-23
This was a good book. The female narrator is one of my favorites. Unfortunately the male narrator sounds like his day job movie trailer announcer. His reading of the dialogue is very good and entertaining, however his narrating of the description is not very good. It’s like listening to the announcer in a movie trailer. Overall the storyline is good.

Hi, I'm Jordyn. I flew from New York to Culver City, CA to interview for the job of a lifetime. When I walked into The Bookstore, I only wanted a steamy romance or two to help pass the time before my big meeting. I walked out with a cinnamon roll who was more funny and charming than all of my favorite book boyfriends combined. Mike was irresistible, and the time we spent together was more fun than I've had in a long time. But I'm smart enough to know if something feels to good too be true, it probably is. I mean, happily ever afters are just for fairy tales and romance novels...right?

Cute and Sexy story
Revisado: 09-12-23
I absolutely loved this book. I really enjoyed the dual narrations. It made the book so much more entertaining. The story was cute and made me wish it was a movie. At it played in my head as a movie. The intimate scenes were very well written. I liked how the descriptions of the intimate scenes changed as their relationship changed. This was actually my second time reading this book in less than 6 months. And I’ll probably read it again in a year lol :)
