The first book was great and this one did not disappoint. I like the stories of how real life feelings for others that are different ; culturally and visually but the heart is what unit us. we all want acceptance, love and respect. I truly enjoyed this book

I have never disliked a character more in my life! This is one of those books where you dislike the main character so much you hope something bad happens to them, and I don't like that for me.

I didn't like this book

I usually love this author, but I will say I didn't like this book at all. I didn't think any of the characters were particularly likeable. Ever came off as selfish and didn't learn from her mistakes. She used people emotionally, which I must say was extremely annoying. Not to mention, the overall tone of the book was doom and gloom.

This book was just ok. What I didn't like was how blind Claire was to her father and what he was capable of. When Nicki came clean she was still mad, but honestly her father was horrible to him so what could she actually be upset about?

I ended up reading book 2 because book 1 left off on a cliff hanger. I can say it wasn't a great book. Spencer made horrible decisions the entire book! Not to mention I was so tired of hearing about the psychotic man who continually tried to sexually assault her over and over again (which she kept going to see in private). Just not a good book.
