Historia
In her late 30's, Rosaria encountered something that turned her world upside down - the idea that Christianity, a religion she had regarded as problematic, might be right about who God was. That idea seemed to fly in the face of the people and causes that she most loved. What follows is a story of what she describes as a train wreck at the hand of the supernatural. These are her secret thoughts about those events, written as only a reflective English professor could.

Poor resource for Christians trying to understand
Revisado: 11-17-19
The lack of any information about this author online implies that the "activist" work she claims to have done is either made up, or much less than she claims. There's not even evidence that she was ever a "liberal" professor at all. She also sounds like someone who never actually lived the life of a lesbian woman but instead is an outsider looking in. It's like when men poorly write about the experiences of women.
This story is exactly that, a story. There is no proof that someone actually lived this life. It's also frustrating because my pastor asked me to read it because he thought it was a true story. It's not only false, but it's deceptive and misleading for people who's experience doesn't give them the understand of what real Lesbians live through.
Please don't be deceived by this book.

Wonderful Performance!
Revisado: 11-08-18
I do not normally listen/ read/ watch murder mysteries so I can not honestly say if this is a great story for fans of the genre.
What I can say honestly is that the voice actor did an amazing job and was able to communicate the emotions of the characters extremely well. I will look for mor books he has read.
I can also say that the story is gripping and the characters come to life with the authors words. I was invested in all of them emotionally and I nearly cried at some points. Both with happiness and sadness.

Historia
History is dramatic - and the renowned, award-winning authors Christopher Collier and James Lincoln Collier demonstrate this in a compelling audiobook aimed at young listeners. Covering American history from the founding of Jamestown through present day, this volume explores far beyond the dates and events of a historical chronicle to present a moving illumination of the ideas, opinions, attitudes, and tribulations that led to the birth of this great nation.

very very very short book, I failed to read reviewers before buying sadly. I wanted a more robust history, not a quick, partisan, summary.
