complicated characters
Revisado: 02-11-24
It was hard to keep up with. I don't know if it was because I was listening with audible. I didn't care for the voices of some characters. The story wasn't thrilling. I didn't think the ending was exciting.

Historia
Eva Kavinsky wakes in a dark cellar, with no memory of how she got here. Imprisoned with her, seemingly at random, are four men. The only way out is the trapdoor in the ceiling – and it's locked. The single clue about what brings them all here is a cryptic message sprayed onto one wall. Connect the dots. Repent. A camera fixed high above reach is livestreaming this whole nightmare to the world. What confessions are they meant to make to their unseen audience?

The Story was good! It made me even gasp a few times. It was a short story which I thought was perfect.

Historia
It was such an odd thing to most people. Arlessa, the most powerful witch in generations, High Priestess of the Borelian Temple, was in hiding, serving on the battlefield as a healer/dispatcher. They did not know, could not know, that for Arlessa to return to the Temple would mean spending the rest of her life in a marriage she did not want or in a prison from which there would be no escape.

Not bad
Revisado: 10-28-20
The story was not confusing, I could follow it and the characters.
The story teller was a little choppy at first but seemed to smooth out with in the first chapter. I enjoyed when she did the male character voices. In the end the story teller still had me engaged into the story. I typically don't read science fiction.
