Jill, you are a braver soul than I am! The raw emotion and struggle is evident in your words! Living your life one way, without question, THEN, having the questions and discovering YOUR answers is an inspiration.

I like that Jill, herself, read this audiobook. I could hear the struggle between speaking her truth and keeping in line with the IBLP philosophy of parents remaining the final authority even as an adult with a family of her own.

I wish nothing but the best for Jill, Derrick, and her family…however many that will be!

The information contained is quite good. Living through both events, it was interesting to hear the details. My only issue with this book is the narrator’s pronunciation of some of the Soviet names. It probably wouldn’t have bothered me had I not listened to Midnight in Chernobyl before listening to this book.
