Just the basics and an automated voice
Revisado: 07-20-18
more minimalist focused than budget focused. narrator was an automated voice that was a bit too slow at first, if you listen to it I suggest putting it at 1.2 speed.

kind of turned Stephanie into a slut...
Revisado: 12-09-17
I'm getting tired of the same phrases used to describe characters and I'm struggling to understand what these guys see in Stephanie (well she drops her pants for them pretty much whenever they ask so that could have something to do with it) I want something new and fresh. heck, even Ranger hooking up with Lulu sounds a bit more interesting than the stuff we've been getting...

decent story, not so decent narration
Revisado: 10-28-17
decent story, couple of parts were the author failed to transition well or set up the reader for a change in a character's view, but overall pretty good.
not so good narration. It's okay during normal speaking moments, but when something bad is happening the voice goes all high pitched and squeaky. very overly dramatic sounding and you find yourself rolling your eyes at the character, plus if your sensitive to sound it starts giving you a headache. the narration makes you wonder how the main character can accomplish anything seeing as she sounds like a ditzy school girl for half the book.
so I suggest reading the book, not listening to the audio book.

just okay
Revisado: 04-13-17
sorry no big long review here. book was a bit overly sentimental with an unsatisfying ending. the "who" in who done it was a well thought out character, the main character attached to them, was not. I found myself wanting the main character good guy to turn out to be the bad guy and was disappointed when they didn't and was even more disappointed to discover that I liked the actual bad guy better, but failed to like the main character good guy. author removed them, thankfully, definitely didn't want to see them again in the next book in the series, hard to say if I'll read the next book in the series or not...

narrator gives me a headache
Revisado: 03-19-16
I like the book and was depressed to see they only have the abridged version on audible, first off what is up with that!? I prefer unabridged audiobooks, but I got it anyway so as that I had the whole stephine plum set. But man the narrator for this book is hard to listen to. She sounds as if she were in high school. Not my favorite.

not the best book in the series
Revisado: 12-17-15
This probably won't be an useful review, but I have to say that after enjoying the previous books in the series, I found myself rather annoyed with this one. It is starting to sound unlikely that she could keep finding dead bodies and not be involved in it. The main character, Tricia, is starting to get on my nerves. She is whinny, snobish, and her guy problems seem to be her own fault. She started off as a likeable character and was liked by most other characters in the town, now it seems as if half of them hate her and I can't say as I blame them. And for being disliked by so many she has four guys falling all over her. It doesn't seem very realistic, or in any way believable. At the end of the book she was blaming herself for the events that had happened, and ho early I blamed her to. I did however think the storyline was a decent one, and would have liked to are it with the original Tricia from book one. I'll read the next book in the series, but if this character doesn't improve, then I can't day as I will read anymore.
