This book was a slow start, and had a few parts that were predictable, but overall a great story. Once it picks up, it has enough mystery to keep your interest. Not a masterpiece but a solid story that is worth the read.

Amazing performance!

This audio was great the story was funny and interesting, and the full cast performance was outstanding. I highly recommend this book. My only complaint is that some of the characters are a tad one dimensional, but they are still interesting. If you struggle to get into audiobooks this one will help.

I really like this story, the narrator has a good voice and is easy to understand. In occasion, though, the sound quality changes a bit, like maybe it was edited in with a part recorded on a lower quality microphone or something. It doesn’t take away from the story but it happens a handle of times throughout the book. The story is interesting, doesn’t move too slowly, and has pretty good characters. Overall, I like it.

Good, easy to listen to

It’s an easy listen and the story is interesting enough to keep your attention but not too intense to be able to listen while doing other things. I find the voice she uses for the cat to be quite annoying but I think that’s the intention. Overall, I would recommend.

No one is safe. This book is a great book of monsters vs humans, the story is fast enough paced to keep your interest but gives enough explanation for the story to make sense, which I often find books of this nature to be lacking. Warning below may be a spoiler.

Predictable, good story, but the narrator

I like this story a lot, it’s predictable but still really good. The male narrator is great, smooth enjoyable voice, but the female narrator has a whiny, nasally, high pitched, Jennifer Tilly-like voice. I find it very annoying. I actually ended up pausing her chapters and reading them in an ebook, instead of listening to her voice.
