I don't get how this one has great reviews. It's over all boring, Evelyn is boring, the plot is boring, writing style is quite ordinary and the supposed plot twist is weak af. Just no.

It never ends! She never shut up!

I loved the first book! I ate it up so fast that I bought the second one the next day! But the second was just Okay. But I did want to know the end anyways, but this, lord, this is torture! It's been a hole month and I can not finish this! Seriously! I wish I could return it.

Lots of rape, forced use of drugs and explicit violence.

The history was OK, the ending was absurdly drag out, so they could do another book. This book should be at least 3 chapters shorter.

But honestly, this girl narration is terrible. She often sounds like a robot reading. To many pauses! Super annoying.

I do love sebastian York narrations, but this woman voice is soooo annoying, I almost gave up!! But if you can pass this, it's a nice story, with a final turn of events that made my eyes roll.

To have a 30 something FBI agent adopt a boy raped by the same guy that raped her at a frat party is so absurd and unrealistic that kind ruined the plot for me.

A very problematic teen story

I admit that a teen category book is not made for someone with 29yo but I've never disliked one this this before.

It's a poor writting. With a really problematic story. As a LGBTQI+ myself I thought I would enjoy this one, but to use a a bunch of queer kids with no one to actually look after them, acting like they are mature enough, and know enough about life in general, makes me consern that teens reading this will think that they are an exemple to be followed just because they are out and proud.

The only realistic thing here, is the toxic parents being extremely envious and abusive.
A bunch of so called " really good friends, that sees Amy in another super toxic relationship and do nothing. Not even to warn her out. The same super great friends sees her drinking again and do nothing to talk her out of it. They just let the girl to her abusive ex and a bunch of tequila, like nothing it's Wrong, and then when she is finally at her worst they come and "ow I'm such a great friend for taking you super drunk out of this bar".

Not to include the actual adults working with the teens. They are 3 under age kids, with a super record deal, and absolutely no one takes care of them, they go wherever and whenever them want to, to do what they want to. That's so unreal that I actually rolled my eyes the entire time.
All kinds of contracts that involves image, do say about limits and appropriate/expected behavior.

But as an actual adult, I do hope with all my heart that teens and young adults reading this book don't see these kind of relationships as the goal to be in. Cause it's just sooo bad God, I can't even.

OK narrator. But they should've brought an actual singer to do the song bits.

Second and third stories have abuse in it.

The second has a stalker/that engraved his name on the lady skin.

The third one, has sexual, fisical, verbal and psychological abuse.

I honestly couldn't finish it.

If you can past all this, be prepare for the worst females narrator ever. Super annoying.

I wasn't expecting much from this book, but what a nice surprise it was! I loved everything about it. The romance, the intrigue, the writing, the narrator, everything!

Loved all the actors in this. Loved to hear so many favorites of mine. But good lord, this one its super boring. I mean, way on earth there is an entire chapter with someone's else history. Someone you're definitely not interested.

I liked the plot, it was different from every other romances that all seems to be in the work environment. Office love etc.

But towards the end, they get super over ridiculous romantic. Like ok, it was fun and sexy, but just because they decided to be together, they suddenly became so clingy that it ruined for me.


I adore Shane East narration, but this girl is super annoying, the way she drags the words by the end of a sentence is ridiculous. What kind of accent is this? It annoyed the hell out of me.
