True Christian Lives
Revisado: 03-06-19
The author shares how some of his friends came to truly know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and how you can, too. This is an excellent book.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Captivating!
Revisado: 01-26-19
The author draws the reader in to the story, making it seem real, even though knowing it is fiction. It is a beautiful story of survival, loneliness, beauty and love. The narration is superb. This is one of the best novels I’ve ever read.

Historia
Over the course of 10 Mitford novels, fans have kept a special place in their hearts for Dooley Kavanagh, first featured in At Home in Mitford as a barefoot, freckle-faced boy in filthy overalls. Now, Father Tim Kavanagh's adopted son has graduated from vet school and opened his own animal clinic. Since money will be tight for a while, maybe he and Lace Harper, his once and future soul mate, should keep their wedding simple.

This book won't disappoint!
Revisado: 01-16-16
What did you love best about Come Rain or Come Shine?
Jan Karon just gets better and better with each book in the Mitford series! I hope she writes another one soon!
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved all the characters, but my favorite character in this book was probably Lace. She is so fresh and real.
Have you listened to any of John McDonough’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
John McDonough was excellent once again. I can't imagine any other narrator doing this book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listened to this book a little each day as time allowed, mostly while driving, and I didn't want it to end!
