Historia
Sam and Sadie—two college friends, often in love, but never lovers—become creative partners in a dazzling and intricately imagined world of video game design, where success brings them fame, joy, tragedy, duplicity, and, ultimately, a kind of immortality. It is a love story, but not one you have heard before.

Not for me
Revisado: 12-22-24
The premise of this book was incredibly intriguing, but unfortunately, the narrative itself was quite depressing. The story left me feeling emotionally drained and somber, which isn't the kind of reading experience I typically enjoy. I prefer books that offer a more uplifting or at least more balanced emotional journey.

Too much like Twilight
Revisado: 09-14-24
Some of the writing was pretty good but overall.I felt that the story was way too much like a blend of fifty shades of gray and twilight.

Historia
The Courage to Be Disliked, already an enormous best seller in Asia with more than 3.5 million copies sold, demonstrates how to unlock the power within yourself to be the person you truly want to be. Using the theories of Alfred Adler, one of the three giants of 20th-century psychology, The Courage to Be Disliked follows an illuminating conversation between a philosopher and a young man. The philosopher explains to his pupil how each of us is able to determine our own life, free from the shackles of past experiences, doubts, and the expectations of others.

Best audio book to date!!
Revisado: 11-23-19
I have read dozens of audio books and I can confidently say this was by far the best. The story was amazing and the narrator was brilliant! I hope I can find other as equally enjoyable audio books as this one. RC Bray is the best narrator and I look forward to buying more books to listen to his story telling.

Historia
Cybersecurity involves people, policy, and technology. Yet most books and academic programs cover only technology. Hence the implementation of cybersecurity as a people powered perpetual innovation and productivity engine is not done. People think they can buy cybersecurity as a product when in fact the discipline is the modern practice of digital business strategy. People also equate cybersecurity with information security or security alone. However, security is a state, while cybersecurity is a process.

I listened to the Audible version and read the book! Dr. Hasib has done a brilliant job articulating the challenges executives face with cybersecurity and best practices to integrate a foundation of cyber into any organization.

Couldn’t listen
Revisado: 02-19-18
I am sure the book is good, and I will have to read it on my Kindle. But this Audio is unbearable. There is a reverberation in his voice that was so distracting I couldn’t get past chapter 2. He should consider hiring a narrator with a stable voice next time. Or re-so this one.

The Northmen don't realize yet that this is going to be more than just a plundering raid.

The narrator was painful!
Revisado: 09-29-13
What did you like best about Darkwalker on Moonshae? What did you like least?
The story was good and entertaining.
Would you be willing to try another book from Douglas Niles? Why or why not?
Yes I would be willing, but not with the same narrator. The story was compelling enough so that I want to continue the series, but I cannot listen to that narrator again.
Would you be willing to try another one of Dara Rosenberg’s performances?
Never
Do you think Darkwalker on Moonshae needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Yes, but it needs to be read by another person.
Any additional comments?
I hope someone realizes how awful the performance was. The sound quality was terrible. There were moments when she sounded like she was in a tunnel, and then a second later had the mic too close to her mouth. Her starts and stops were distracting and frankly aggravating. I bought both the first and second novel on the same order, and I wish I hadn't done that because the narrator was so bad I will not listen to the second book.
