Historia
This book is about the discovery that the human brain has its own unique way of healing. For centuries we believed that the price we paid for our brain's complexity was that, compared to other organs, it was fixed and unregenerative - unable to recover from damage or illness. In his revolutionary new book, Norman Doidge turns this belief on its head.

It took me a while to get through it, but very worthwhile. Some of the new modalities for remodeling or reinvigorating the brain function and brain body connection have been around for a long time. Thanks to this book they will become more available for the people who need them the most and hopefully will become more widespread that the medicate or institutionalize model.

Historia
Losing your memory? Can't focus or concentrate? Do you have brain fog or tire easily? Have you lost your zest for life or motivation? Do people tell you this is all a normal part of aging? If so, your brain may be growing old too fast, or degenerating. Modern diets, a stressful lifestyle, and environmental toxins all take their toll on the brain. This doesn't just happen to seniors - brain disorders and degeneration are on the rise for young and old alike. The good news is the brain is extremely adaptable and wants to get well.

most important book I have read on restoring my health and brain function. I have followed protocol for 2 weeks and have had an incredible turn around in health ,brain function and ability to handle stress.I would highly recommend this to any adult, especially if you have kids with learning difficulties or anxieties .My only gripe was listening to the credentials of the practitioners after every case study. instead of maybe at the end..but only a small issue . extremely helpful book.

Move Your DNA explains the science behind our need for natural movement - right down to the cellular level. It examines the differences between the movements in a typical hunter-gatherer's life and the movements in our own. It shows the many problems with using exercise like movement vitamins instead of addressing the deeper issue of a poor movement diet.
