Great family connections with mysteries intertwined. Great flow from one chapter to another. I liked the way the past connected with the present and all mysteries were concluded.
I will definitely read more from this author.

Enjoyable but lacks enthusiasm!
Revisado: 10-11-16
Enjoyed the characters and thought they were well developed.
The story itself was rather dry and had very little mystery to it. The narrator did a good job.

Great period book.
Revisado: 02-11-13
Where does The House at Riverton rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book rates at the top of my favorites.
Would you be willing to try another book from Kate Morton? Why or why not?
Yes, I would be open trying another book by Kate Morton.
What does Caroline Lee bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I really prefer to read books for myself, but my eye sight is getting bad. However, compared to other audible books, Caroline did a good job.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Great family history through the eyes of a person in service of the family.
Any additional comments?
The book was good but I don't like stories to start with the end first.

Sherlock Holmes...the later years!
Revisado: 09-25-12
What made the experience of listening to The Beekeeper's Apprentice the most enjoyable?
The person reading was very good at using different voices to portray the characters. the English accents were easy to understand.
What did you like best about this story?
It was a big surprise to find out who the guilty party turned out to be.
Have you listened to any of Jenny Sterlin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is the first Jenny Sterling book I have listened to.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It's always nice to listen to a book all in one session...but it almost never happens.
Any additional comments?
Holmes is one of my favorite characters and I enjoyed thinking of him carrying on in his older years!
