Love the story, almost didn’t get through it because of the readers voice. Poor choice of reader nearly stopped me. Once I got past that it was truly a rich and rewarding story interwoven beautifully with history and deep emotions.

Simply Marvelous!
Revisado: 10-03-24
A riveting historic telling of an unforgettable time in history. Especially valuable to me on many levels. My Jewish ancestry and the fact I’m in my second year of stuffing French! Hearing it throughout the novel was so exciting and educational. Thank you so much for doing the difficult work of weaving historical information and frictional guidelines to create an enjoyable journey for the readers. Well done!❤️

Historia
When Kitty Karr Tate, a White icon of the silver screen, dies and bequeaths her multimillion-dollar estate to the St. John sisters, three young, wealthy Black women, it prompts questions. Lots of questions. A celebrity in her own right, Elise St. John would rather focus on sorting out Kitty’s affairs than deal with the press. But what she discovers in one of Kitty’s journals rocks her world harder than any other brewing scandal could—and between a cheating fiancé and the fallout from a controversial social media post, there are plenty.

Tapestry weaving!
Revisado: 09-22-24
I love a good puzzle, so I can understand why some people will find this hard to get into. The author gets my highest respect for her ability to weave an intricate story of depth and detail over decades in multiple layers! I was mesmerized as I read how the lives developed and intertwined. The ending with violin music was absolutely classic! Such a pleasure to read the work of such an artist! Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing Love!
Revisado: 08-24-24
Well written story! My two daughter’s had breast cancer. The oldest passed and the second one had a more aggressive form of it in stage two. This story chronicled her experiences with such accuracy! The love and Grace of God came through each chapter, really blessed me to read this! Thank you so much. My second daughter survived after double mastectomy and is cancer free now.

Bleak and dark
Revisado: 08-07-24
This is the worse story I’ve read in years. The thought of this woman killing so many people while considering herself a Christian is beyond me. I’m insulted by the writer setting this story in these parameters giving the impression that people of real faith live this way. I feel this purchase was a wasted investment of money and time.

The storyline
Revisado: 07-17-24
The intricate weaving of the storyline of three families and their stories, how they slowly intertwined as the book developed was absolutely fascinating! It really drew me in as a reader. I found myself reaching back to the reference point of when I heard a certain characters name mentioned. I became more excited as it drew to the conclusion and saw how they all supported one another in their healing and growth. Vanessa continues to inspire and educate in her writing!

I can make it!
Revisado: 06-25-24
Tasha writes a compelling story of her life and she is transparent in showing us being a Christian is not a bed of roses. While I know her personally because she was a member of my church for a while you can never really know all the inner workings of a persons life behind closed doors. I’m so very proud that she was brave enough to open this doors and share her weak times so others can see we have them but GOD is more than able to help us with the side of community of faith to bring us through. I believe her book will free so many Christian’s to seek the help they need in grief and In their mental health so we can truly become a glorious church as JESUS intended us to be. Thank you Tasha. I still sing, “You know my name” with joy!❤️
