Historia
Former DOJ cybercrimes prosecutor Chris Bruen walks into a dark apartment in Amsterdam to confront a hacker known as Black Vector. The hacker has stolen the source code for the world’s most ubiquitous operating system, which powers everything from personal computers to the NSA’s data centers. This should have been a routine assignment for Bruen, but instead of obtaining a confession, Bruen finds the hacker’s dead body and uncovers a hidden flash drive that contains the code for a remarkably sophisticated computer virus known as Lurker.

Historia
In 1875, tuberculosis was the deadliest disease in the world, accountable for a third of all deaths. A diagnosis of TB - often called consumption - was a death sentence. Then, in a triumph of medical science, a German doctor named Robert Koch deployed an unprecedented scientific rigor to discover the bacteria that caused TB. Koch soon embarked on a remedy - a remedy that would be his undoing. When Koch announced his cure for consumption, Arthur Conan Doyle, then a small-town doctor in England and sometime writer, went to Berlin to cover the event.

The author provides a great background without loosing focus of the core. I found the narration to be well done. Very easy to listen to and made it very easy to stay engaged.

Historia
Just a generation ago this place was called America. Now, after the worldwide implementation of UN-lead program called Agenda 21, it's simply known as the 'Republic'. There is no president. No congress. No Supreme Court. No freedom. There are only the Authorities. Citizens have two primary goals in the new Republic: to create clean energy and to create new human life. Those who cannot do either are of no use to society. This bleak and barren existence is all that 18-year-old Emmeline has ever known.

A good look at the extreme result of Agenda 21
Revisado: 12-09-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes I would, while I am all about taking care of our earth, we must do so with balance. This books helps you to see the direction that local and even the federal government is slowly taking. While I saw slowly, it could easily become quickly and drastic.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Agenda 21?
There were several but hard for me to write down, I enjoyed the detailed descriptions of the people envolved and of course the Afterward.
What about January LaVoy’s performance did you like?
Unlike a few others, I though she did a good job, it was easy to listen to, and she gave depth to the people she discribed. I even enjoyed her "man" voice.
