Historia
One of the most popular Fortune articles in many years was a cover story called "What It Takes to Be Great." Geoff Colvin offered new evidence that top performers in any field - from Tiger Woods and Winston Churchill to Warren Buffett and Jack Welch - are not determined by their inborn talents. Greatness doesn't come from DNA but from practice and perseverance honed over decades.

Historia
While Abraham Lincoln is widely lauded for saving a Union and freeing millions of slaves, his valiant fight against the forces of the undead has remained in the shadows for hundreds of years. That is, until Seth Grahame-Smith stumbled upon The Secret Journal of Abraham Lincoln, and became the first living person to lay eyes on it in more than 140 years.

Great audio book, horrible movie!
Revisado: 09-04-12
Save yourself some money and don't watch the movie after you listen/read this audio book. The movie went pass left field into an entirely new realm, maybe Mid-world. I can't believe - but I can now - the author agreed to that rewrite travesty of a movie.

Historia
The Internet has profoundly changed the way people communicate and interact with each other. It has also changed the way businesses communicate with current and potential customers. In the old days, marketers could only communicate through the filter of expensive advertising or media ink placed by a PR firm. Today, the rules have changed entirely.

I didn't like Abridged versions, I do now.
Revisado: 09-04-12
This audio book is too long, period. This could probably be chopped by 1/3 and be much more enjoyable.

Historia
"When everybody zigs, zag," says Marty Neumeier in this fresh view of brand strategy. Zag follows the ultra-clear "whiteboard overview" style of the author's first book, The Brand Gap, but drills deeper into the question of how brands can harness the power of differentiation. The author argues that in an extremely cluttered marketplace, traditional differentiation is no longer enough.

Legal Plagerism at it's finest
Revisado: 09-04-12
The very first few minutes were almost a complete extraction from Trout & Ries' Positioning but lacked the depth and proof. If this is how you write a book then I should no problem with "re-positioning" the writing of great books for sell with my name on it. Look out world, here I come.

Historia
“Long live the King” hailed Entertainment Weekly upon publication of Stephen King’s On Writing. Part memoir, part master class by one of the bestselling authors of all time, this superb volume is a revealing and practical view of the writer’s craft, comprising the basic tools of the trade every writer must have. King’s advice is grounded in his vivid memories from childhood through his emergence as a writer, from his struggling early career to his widely reported, near-fatal accident in 1999—and how the inextricable link between writing and living spurred his recovery.

Great but there's one thing you...
Revisado: 09-04-12
The audio book was great, I can't deny that, but Stephen King doesn't practice what he preaches. Most of his novels are a lesson in complex word discovery.
