Historia
In Mastery, Robert Greene's fifth book, he mines the biographies of great historical figures for clues about gaining control over our own lives and destinies. Picking up where The 48 Laws of Power left off, Greene culls years of research and original interviews to blend historical anecdote and psychological insight, distilling the universal ingredients of the world's masters.

Kind of repeats the biography of same people but in a different light, makes you think you've actually skipped back a few chapters, BUT an amazing perspective of what it means to master a craft or a field. Worth listening even with a biast beliefs.

Historia
What is the nature of space and time? How do we fit within the universe? How does the universe fit within us? There's no better guide through these mind-expanding questions than acclaimed astrophysicist and best-selling author Neil deGrasse Tyson. But today, few of us have time to contemplate the cosmos. So Tyson brings the universe down to Earth succinctly and clearly, with sparkling wit, in digestible chapters consumable anytime and anywhere in your busy day.

Neil DE Grasse Tyson paints a great perspective
Revisado: 11-29-18
Neil seems more like a poet than a Scientist likes to read. He makes facts sound pretty, more or less a bad listener, in his interviews Neil interrupts alot, which makes my opinion a bit biast. I expected a scientific book to have factual examples of how the data was collected rather than a mere speculation of how things came to be.
Other than that GREAT read and over all good writing.

Historia
By August 1968, the American space program was in danger of failing in its two most important objectives: to land a man on the moon by President Kennedy's end-of-decade deadline and to triumph over the Soviets in space. With its back against the wall, NASA made an almost unimaginable leap: It would scrap its usual methodical approach and risk everything on a sudden launch, sending the first men in history to the moon - in just four months.

Amazing, well researched, heart warming values that people possessed in their times. I have gained a great deal of respect for the people involved in this mission. I wish space exploration was as exciting now as it was was then.

Historia
The Christian church has a long tradition of systematic theology - that is, studying theology and doctrine organized around fairly standard categories such as the word of God, redemption, and Jesus Christ. This introduction to systematic theology has several distinctive features: a strong emphasis on the scriptural basis for each doctrine and teaching; clear writing, with technical terms kept to a minimum; and a contemporary approach, treating subjects of special interest to the church today.

Historia
The Book of the Courtier remains the definitive account of Renaissance court life. Because of this, it is considered one of the most important Renaissance works. The book is organized as a series of fictional conversations that occur between the courtiers of the Duke of Urbino in 1507 (when Baldassare was in fact part of the Duke's Court). In the book, the courtier is described as having a cool mind, a good voice (with beautiful, elegant and brave words) along with proper bearing and gestures.

Historia
On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.
