Even before Myristal went out, before the battle of the Heavens and the Earth broke out, before the Black General was imprisoned on the Mountain of Skulls, a wizard had wandered the endless expanses of the Nameless World in search of his past and his future. This is the legend of Ash, the Master of a Thousand Words, the Bloody General. What's true and what is fiction is up to you to decide.

best profomance
Revisado: 04-27-24
Performance was probably the best I've heard, and my library is over 400. I thought there were too many songs, and there was a bit of a slow section. Movie was better, and this would be the first time my opinion about movie vs book would be such.
Also when will Audible fix this trash text editor to cap and punctuate my typing? ugggg.

Have you started a half a dozen audiobooks just to stop and look for another? We've all been there, done that, but I believe this is your new favorite book. If you're here at all then you must like the genre, and if that much is true then I 100% highly recommend this little piece of wonderful.
Now instead of listening to something for 4 hours before FINALLY deciding WTF you are doing, you're gonna be all excited to get back to listening.. yay!

Historia
A silver cup lies half-forgotten in a dank cave among a pile of stolen goods. Yet the tiny vessel and its inscription, Amor gignit amorem, haunts the lives of the still-feuding Poldark and Warleggan families, as Ross, Demelza, and the ambitious and powerful Sir George Warleggan watch their children make the decisions that will shape their destinies. In the closing years of the wars against Napoleon, for Jeremy and Clowance, and for arrogant, cynical Valentine Warleggan, these are troubled and momentous times....

Revisado: 12-21-22
After hundreds of books and audibles, I have found my favorite read of all time.
The performance was enchanting, 'the Troubles' were enlightening, breath stopping, and very intriguing, and the complicated story that centers around a beautiful American woman amongst the feirce people who would do anything for Ireland and what should be a simple human rights.
It's a gloriously written story. Highly recommended to one and ALL.

I have started many series, and usually get burned out and abandon them. I cant imagine taking a break from the amazing Courtney family saga. These books are fantastic, and everything expected from an author, and performance are here.
