This is by far the best narrated book of which I’ve ever listened. The wisdom within the pages is just as amazing. This is my new favorite book. Period.

Great for children who are curious about God

My 5 1/2-year-old daughter sat and listened to the ENTIRE audiobook in one sitting.
My daughter has began to ask more questions about the Bible and is very curious about the story of Jesus and his significance. We visit a non-denominational Christian “mega church”, for community and so our children have a foundation of religion. At home, our focus is on God and His love for his children and all creatures, rather than that of more organized teachings. We also read stories of the Buddha, Hinduism, Judaism and of the Muslim Faith. We pray and meditate to arc angels and God every day.
I was raised very much steeped in Christianity and have read the entire bible (KJV)several times -before adulthood- which is why I believe this particular children’s bible has more of an emphasis of God’s love than many of the others I’ve come across over my 22 years as a parent. I appreciate the way in which the stories of the Bible are given in such a way that’s relatable and engaging to young children. The narration is EXCELLENT, which is another reason why my daughter was so enthralled with this audio book.
I would recommend The Jesus Storybook Bible to any and all children. What a beautiful telling of a Book that has turned so many away and so many are intimidated to read.

Rachel's "voice" ...

Narrator makes Rachel's "voice" come off as a ditzy ABC -- horrible. I quite like every other character and overall performance. It's just Rachel; the narrator made her annoyingly unlikeable to me. Too bad.
